Learning about India

Junior Infants are learning lots of interesting facts about Indian food, clothes and festivals in India. One of their pupil's parents came in to teach them all about India. She wore a beautiful Saris, a traditional Indian dress. She taught us lots of interesting facts and a lovely song, 'Vande Mataram'.
They also learned a nursery rhyme in Hindi called 'Dhobi Aaya' .
