Marching Songs

Thanks to Shauna for coming in to teach Senior Infants a lovely song to sing on Intercultural Day. Its called " The ants go marching ". We are so grateful for all our wonderful parents in Merlin Woods Primary School.

Project time

The boys and girls are busy preparing projects for our International Festival. In Second Class they learned all about Russia and even got to taste some Russian food and hear a Russian story. Thanks to all the parents who brought stuff in for our project!

The 1916 Rising Commenmoration

Third, Fourth and Fifth class have been working very hard on their projects for the 1916 Rising Commenmoration.

Merlin Woods was lucky enough to get some special visitors, soldiers from the army to present the school with the Irish flag and to commemorate the 1916 Rising. The children had prepared lots of answers to lots of questions and performed some songs on the tin whistle on the day.
